WFD Engine 338 responded to 138 E. Davis Ave. for smoke coming from the building.

Upon arrival, the crew found heavy smoke coming from the rear of the building and stretched a 1-¾ inch line to the side door. Entering the building they found heavy smoke & fire coming from the rear bedroom. Engine 335 crew went in to back up the first crews. Tower 351 crew laddered the roof to vent.

Approx 30 firefighters responded from the City of Wildwood, and City of North Wildwood FD Engine 2 duty crew also responded to location and backed up both E338 and E335 crews.

Rio Grande Fire Co. station 72 responded to location for a RIT (Rapid Intervention Team) assignment. The Rio Grande Rescue Squad also responded to the scene. West Wildwood Fire Co. also was on scene and supplied air and manpower.
